Where we swim

Queen Mother Sports Centre on Vauxhall Bridge Road, SW1V 1EL, close to Victoria station, every Monday night at 7.45pm (except bank holidays), when the pool is closed to the public.

We swim from 8pm until 9pm and enjoy a chat over a drink of ribena until 9.30pm.

What is Pimlico Puffins?

For over 30 years, the Pimlico Puffins Swimming Club has been helping people with disabilities in London. We welcome people with either physical or learning disabilities, with varying swimming abilities.

We are a voluntary organisation, run by a team of enthusiastic helpers. Whether you want to learn to swim, improve your swimming, to have fun or simply to gain confidence in the water, our helpers can support you on a one-to-one basis or in a group.

There are currently more than 30 swimmers, ranging from 12 to 80 years of age. All swimmers will be offered assistance in the water by one of our 20 trained volunteers. The services is provided free of charge and we may be able to provide free transport as well if you live in certain areas of London. Please contact us for more information.
